BEND OF THE RIVER FESTIVAL

The Bend of the River Music Festival is an annual, all day, outdoor music festival. Suitable for all ages and billed as a family and community event, it allows for your taking along your own chairs but because they have food courts and facilities available, cooler boxes or hampers are not encouraged. All funds raised by the community and visitors to the event, go towards the easing of the financial burden, of keeping the schools' sporting and sports activities program, operating and viable. This year's annual rock concert has plenty of variety in store for the whole family. This full day of community conscious activities and music will feature the renowned singer-songwriter Brett Michaels. He definitely worth the seat price just to hear some of his international best-selling music. Then the vocal frontman of the rock band Ratt, Stephen Reacry, takes to the stage, and he will enthrall you with the reasons why Ratt are so popular. The rock band Great White, as in the name of the fish, have been around for generations. They remember and competed with the greats, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and Who. Together, these talented musicians make for an extraordinary and exciting rock concert, designed to keep all the family, and the community, entertained for the whole day. VETTER STONE AMPHITHEATER IN MANKATO, MINNESOTA

Brett Michaels, with Stephen Pearcy and the rock band, Great White make an appearance at the Vetter Stone Amphitheater in Mankato in Minnesota, on Saturday 13th September. This picturesque and largely natural stone amphitheater, situated along the banks of the Minnesota River, has become a hugely acclaimed venue, created for outdoor and community events and functions, but has since become a national treasure.
