PUBLIC TRANSPORT

As the venue is very close to the center of Mankato, it is an easy place to get to by foot, cab, or public transport. There are several public transport options for getting to the Vetter Stone Amphitheater.

Bus routes 7, 10, and 11 stop close to Riverfront Park, and the nearest bus stop is at the Immanuel Lutheran Church located 0.5 miles from the venue.

Rideshare drop-off and pick-up locations are situated close to the entrance of the venue at 310 W Rock St. Given the limited availability of parking, taking a cab removes any hassle of trying to locate parking or traffic congestion.

For large events including Ribfest, a free shuttle bus service runs throughout. The buses run from the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center to Riverfront Park.

From the North

Take HWY 169 to HWY 14 East, then exit at Riverfront Drive. Turn right down Riverfront Drive and follow the route for 1.4 miles until you arrive at Rock Street. 

From the South

Take HWY 169 and exit at Riverfront Drive. Turn right down Riverfront Drive and follow the route for 1.4 miles until you arrive at Rock Street.

From the East

Take HWY 14 and exit at Riverfront Drive. Turn left down Riverfront Drive and follow the route for 1.4 miles until you arrive at Rock Street.

From the West

Take HWY 14 and exit at Riverfront Drive. Turn right down Riverfront Drive and follow the route for 1.4 miles until you arrive at Rock Street.

Walking to the venue

Due to the proximity to central Mankato, event attendees staying in Mankato can walk to the venue. If you are walking, the best route is to cross Riverfront Drive at Elm Street and walk along the access trails. The trails take you down the scenic banks of the Minnesota River.

Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport

The closest major airport to the Vetter Stone Amphitheater is Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport. The airport is around 75 miles from the venue, taking approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to drive. There is a Land to Air Express bus service running between the airport and Mankato, which takes around 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Mankato Regional Airport

Mankato also has its own regional airport, which is just 7 miles from the Vetter Stone Amphitheater. Event attendees flying to Mankato Regional Airport can take a 15-minute cab drive from the airport to the amphitheater.
