Vetter Stone Amphitheater Rules
For the safety and security of all patrons visiting the Vetter Stone Amphitheater, a comprehensive set of rules and policies must be adhered to. All attendees will be subject to security screening, including bag checks. The following prohibited items will not be allowed into the venue:
Prohibited items
- » Alcoholic beverages
- » Animals (except for certified service animals)
- » Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, skates, Segways, and golf carts
- » Bullhorns and noisemakers
- » Cameras with detachable lenses or attached lenses longer than 3 inches
- » Camera tripods, GoPros, and selfie sticks
- » Coolers, thermoses, or ice chests
- » Fireworks, explosives, or other incendiary devices
- » Food and beverage
- » Glass or metal containers of any style
- » Illegal substances
- » Inflatable cushions, air loungers, air sofas, or air cushions
- » Items that may be deemed a safety hazard or annoyance to participants or guests (including balls, balloons, bells, frisbees, horns, projectiles, whistles, and musical instruments)
- » Laser pointers
- » Masks intended as a form of disguise or concealment work over or covering the face to hide the identity of the person are prohibited
- » Remote-controlled flying devices or UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles)
- » Tarps
- » Tents or canopies
- » Large umbrellas – small umbrellas no larger than 12” when closed and with a diameter of less than 40″ are permitted
- » Video cameras or audio recording devices
- » Weapons of any kind, including guns, knives, and pepper spray
The venue management and security team will refuse to allow any items that could be dangerous or affect guest safety into the Vetter Stone Amphitheater. Distribution of unauthorized promotional or commercial material is not permitted.
Prohibited conduct
The venue operates an improper conduct policy to ensure that all guests can enjoy their event. Patrons at the Vetter Stone Amphitheater are prohibited from using profane or abusive language. Any attendees found to be using offensive language or throwing objects may be ejected from the venue.
Bag policy
To help ensure that patrons can quickly and safely enter the Vetter Stone Amphitheater, the venue management operates a clear bag policy.
The following bags are permitted into the venue:
- » Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVS tote bags up to 12” x 6” x 12”
- » Clear plastic, resealable storage bags of no more than 1 gallon in volume
- » Small bags that are not clear will be allowed into the venue if they are smaller than 5” x 8”
Smoking policy
The amphitheater operates a no-smoking policy and no tobacco products, e-cigarettes, or any other type of similar products are allowed into the venue.
Accessibility
Tickets for accessible seating can be purchased for different sections of the amphitheater, including the floor seating area. Deaf/hard of hearing seating can also be reserved by contacting the ticket provider at least 10 days prior to the event.
Anyone requiring an ASL signer/interpreter should contact the ticket provider at least 10 days prior to the event to submit a request.
Camera policy
Patrons are prohibited from taking professional cameras or cameras with long/detachable lenses into the venue. For some events, a “no camera policy” may be in force, so you should check the details for the event you are attending.
Weather policy
The venue has a rain-or-shine policy, so it is very rare that an event at the Vetter Stone Amphitheater will be canceled or postponed due to bad weather. In the event of extreme weather, ticket holders should check the event’s social media channels for updates. Should an event be canceled, the organizer will offer refunds or tickets for the rescheduled event.
Concession stalls
The concession stalls at events vary but the most exciting line-up for foodies is undoubtedly Ribfest. The festival famously has a rib cook-off competition, where vendors battle for top awards. Award categories include Best Pulled Pork, Best Sauce, and the People’s Choice Award.
